FPE Global marked the launch of its new test facility at the PPMA Total Show 2016.
Held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC), the PPMA Total Show 2016 brought together over 300 exhibitors and thousands of industry experts from 27-29 September, in an exhibition of the latest processing and packaging innovations.
Stationed at stand H46, FPE discussed its range of services, products and future projects with hundreds of industry experts and customers at the event. The company was also invited to share its expertise with PPMA’s film crew, broadcasted on big screens across the event.
The company, which specialises in pneumatic conveying systems, mechanical handling equipment and FIBC filling and discharging, was recently boosted by the launch of its new 3,500 sq ft test facility. Incorporating a multi-phase 500m pneumatic conveying system, the facility is the only one of its kind in the UK.
FPE has also strengthened its team with the appointments of Peter Slee-Smith as Technical Industry Expert, Tim Hines as Chief Financial Officer, and a number of sector heads to increase market share in five core industrial sectors, including specialist materials handling, food and beverage, pet foods, detergents and chemicals and renewables.
David Cooper, Chief Executive at FPE Global, said: “We’re delighted to have exhibited at this year’s PPMA Total Show. We’ve made great strides in recent months, launching a new test facility and making a number of strong additions to our team. This event was an excellent opportunity to showcase our extensive product range, breadth of services and continued growth as we develop our client base on an international scale. We have committed to exhibit at a number of trade shows and look forward to showcasing our business across the UK, Europe, Asia and America in 2017.
