Project Manager

Role overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager to provide a high-level project management service to our customers and sales team alike. The PM will take ownership of projects from (and in some cases before) the point of order and deliver systems on time and within budget. The PM will liaise with the customer, sales team and other internal departments to evaluate applications and to deliver the best solution possible for FPE and the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and checking of project information provided from point of order
  • Risk minimising and management of projects
  • Regular reporting to management on customer relations and project performance
  • Management of project budget and delivery commitments
  • Providing clear and thorough technical information and support to internal departments as required to execute the contract
  • Close liaison with service team to ensure on site and service requirements are managed and controlled effectively and with the boundaries of individual projects
  • Influence the use of standard systems and products to meet application requirements
  • Ensure compliance and documentation responsibilities are adhered to as required by individual projects
  • Manage customer visits including pre-order material trials and pre-delivery testing
  • Continuous development of internal systems and procedures as required by areas of responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Full-time role based at FPEs head office in Stockport
  • Travel in the UK and overseas to customers and suppliers will be required from time to time
  • Interaction and Management of internal resources as required for individual projects

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical qualification, preferably to degree level, in a technical/engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Project Managing large capital goods/solutions. Strong preference is for that experience to be in the materials handling, material processing, packaging, conveyance and/or containment equipment manufacturers.
  • Minimum of ten years total related industrial experience in a variety of functions.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capability
  • Valid driving licence for car and flexibility and capability to travel Worldwide.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite.

Role overview:

We are looking for a time served Plater / Welder / Fabricator to join our expert engineering department. Working 39 hours per week plus overtime, the role will require the suitable candidate to work on medium to heavy fabrications in steel and mild steel, including cones, hoppers and support structures.

The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with marking out / development & forming techniques along with strong health & safety awareness.

Role overview:

The Marketing Executive at FPE Global is responsible for development & implementation of the firm’s marketing strategy, with a focus on lead generation through digital marketing channels. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s internal and external marketing activities.

Primary Duties:

  • Support the development and delivery of an integrated and measurable B2B digital marketing strategy that will achieve the consumer go-to-market plan.
  • Deliver a marketing activity schedule and marketing content with a focus on “direct response” initiatives.
  • Create and manage data-driven email marketing campaigns, maximising capabilities of the platform and supporting the CRM programme.
  • CRM Database development – play a leading role in daily management and development of the company database.
  • Identifying opportunities for website improvements through data, customer insight & best practice.
  • Manage web content to deliver increased performance in lead generation, customer engagement and online exposure.
  • Take a lead role in executing external marketing programs and events such as: global trade shows, on-line courses, technical seminars, electronic media campaigns, etc through the identification of key messages, positioning and promotional and educational events.
  • Ensure marketing materials for FPE (on-line and print) are aligned with market and customer needs and that relevant and timely content is delivered via appropriate electronic medium.
  • Support the sales team to develop and implement high impact sector specific campaigns.
  • Play a leading role in ensuring that FPE’s digital marketing channels (social media, website) are attractive and up to date in order to promote maximum relevant traffic.
  • Assure that appropriate sales presentation, brochures and other “tools” are available and improvements are evaluated and made regularly.
  • Commission and create suitable digital content to drive increased conversion, reach and traffic.
  • Manage online content, PPC and SEO to deliver improved visibility and traffic.
  • Establish timely and meaningful digital reporting to drive continuous lead generation and performance improvement.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and external agencies to deliver the digital marketing campaign plan through effective online journeys, landing pages and content.
  • Devise and implement strategies to achieve and upload data acquisition targets.
  • Personally act as Company ambassador where appropriate at company events.
  • Research and contact potential agents/clients across FPE’s target industry sectors.
